Meet the makers

Sunshine Farms is a mom-and-pop shop that sells homemade soaps and candles. Created by a husband-and-wife team with deep roots in the heart of the South, our collection is infused with love, tradition, and a passion for quality.

Devin Porch

Devin has had an appreciation for handmade crafts since she was six. She was inspired by her grandmother, who introduced her to sewing, quilting, and counted cross-stitch. College friends later pulled her into knitting and crocheting, too.

Although she's not a Louisiana native, she grew up in Houston, Texas, and knows the scents of the South by heart. When she's not making for Sunshine Farms or taking care of Miles and August, she enjoys gardening, running, video games, and snowboarding.

Ronald Porch

Ronald is a Louisiana native who grew up on his grandpa's farm—long days outside, pecan trees, and the kind of scents that stay with you. Those years are still the compass for everything he makes.

He found his way into software, and he still loves the puzzle of building things with technology. Off the clock, he's a dad first: Miles and August keep him grounded, laughing, and a little tired in the best way.

When the screens get too loud, Ronald heads back to the workbench. He pours candles and cold-process soaps that smell like home—the farm, the South, and the slow comfort of being exactly where you come from.
